PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY - Page 5 Empty Re: PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY

Post  Alastor Sat Jul 18, 2015 4:28 pm

As Alastor remained facing away from Emilia, his eyes rolled along the ground. The area was peaceful, the pack still off on the hunt. He was not expecting another to arrive for some time - though something changed that. The tensed male allowed his muzzle to point upward. A slow blowing breeze carrying scents of interest. There was prey, the distant pack, territory markings, and a very close new wolf. It was a male, unfamiliar to he and the pack. The scent was entirely new, a male from a far away land. Lastor relaxed himself, his thoughts now directed to this new attraction. Allowing his blue, almost silver-ish eyes to roam. It didn't take long to locate the origin.

Atop a rock, Al's eyes targeted a large male, he himself was large for a male, but this wolf, this one was massive practically otherworldly. The brownish-tawny male stood to his paws, his stance firm though non-aggressive. He knew how to handle himself, he was not frightened nor looking for a battle, though he was rightly and respectfully alert. The ebony coated, red eyed beast was silent. His position firm and seemingly lifeless for a few moments. Subtle breaths and lively eyes being the only real motions he made.

Alastor allowed himself to step forward, he sent no threat with his movements, "The name is Alastor. It's quite clear you do not hail from this land. Nor do I, might I ask your name?" His voice was deep, and curiosity rang through his words. His frame was eased, his eyes pinpointed onto the male that stood levels above him. Al was okay, though his thoughts soon roamed to Emilia. He himself was fine, though he wondered if the she-wolf would be as docile in the situation as himself. Then again, this was her pack - if trouble stirred - she would be protected by someone.

I have no idea what's happening or what this post will be about, but be sure it's gonna be real funky because that's what my starting posts are like (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

A figure appeared along the ridge, making her way down carefully. She didn't care whether anyone saw her or even if a bunch of blood-thirsty mongrels decided to chase her down and eat her for dinner. Why? Because she had managed to get out of those situations before, why couldn't she do it again? Besides, her journey had been amazingly - almost boringly - uneventful on the way here, and she was half-hoping that something interesting would happen.

Still, the female knew her luck wouldn't last much longer. But hey, maybe it would give her an interesting story to tell her children. If she ever had children... ...Or if she managed to survive long enough to even have any. The wolf snorted, 'As if I'd become a mother.' She thought, slightly amused at her ponderings. If she had wanted that kind of life she might as well have stayed in her birth pack. No, this wolf wanted adventure, a challenge. She did not want a life spent in the same surroundings with the same kinds of fellows. She wanted to find her own place.

Having made her way down from the rocky terrain to the more level thicket, the wolf found marks in the soil and leaf-litter. They were tracks. Wolf tracks. At least, that's what the female thought they were as she had never seen paw prints  this big: They were nearly twice the size of her own paw! Whomever they belonged to must've have ridiculously massive feet, or had been absolutely incredible in size themselves. There was a monster if these woods, and this female intended to find it. Perhaps she could slay it? Although she knew this would've been absolutely impossible by herself, she still wanted to behold this behemoth of a beast. Besides, what had she to loose?

[Let's see how well this encounter systems works...]

Somewhere in the midst of many, many trees, the elder found herself in a stupor. Wandering was the cause; hunger was its agitator. Debris crunched underneath her paws, though their crackle was unsatisfactory. She longed instead for the crack of bone between her jaws, and let out a sigh. Exasperated, and with her patience running thin, she attempted to taste the air many times, with no quarry in the vicinity.

It was only until she had wandered awhile longer, and to the point where her paws ached and her stomach wanted to consume itself, when she found a scent. The scent was faint, whatever it was; its origin was unknown to her, but she was about to discern the truth about its being.

[Success! For now.]

The animal was both in nature and in scent; it had failed to be generous in its tidings, and had departed on other business long before her arrival. Koa believed its likeness to be that of a squirrel. She was too far away to hear its constant scurrying or food hoarding, both consequences of its paranoia. The scent, however lingered long enough for her to trail, and she soon began her pursuit. The wolf paused, and listened; she was still not within range. Her ear betrayed a twitch, and her nose sniffed intently for the creature. She knew that she would need to act quickly, for if the animal was almost done with its foraging, it would head to the refuge of the trees. Similarly, if she was too rash in her approach, the animal would vacate the area regardless and, once more, head for the safety of the trees. She pondered about her strategy, and awaited the moment where she held the squirrel in her sight's reach.

She need not wait long; she heard the animal, first, and then saw it. Trees were all around, and she decided the risk of chasing it down immediately was too great. Her best bet was stealth. Unfortunately, in her old age, she was both impatient and clumsy, and these traits often did not aid her in hunts. This is why she preferred hunting with others; she found herself hopeless on her own, and survived solely thanks to luck, and luck alone.

She muttered her wishes for success, and carried onward. Koa weaved among the foliage and dense bracken, occasionally hiding among the shadows and trunks of the trees. With time, she found herself close enough, and swiftly lunged outward towards the squirrel. The animal instinctively ran, and ran just as swiftly, if not moreso than she. With frustration, her bite increased its tension, but she pushed herself and soon found the squirrel in her jaws; she had caught it just in time. The squirrel's chosen tree of refuge was mere inches in front of her.

I hate these things. Wolves were not meant to climb.

With a sigh, she began her repast and tore eagerly into the squirrel's flesh.

Good enough.

E M I L I A

Emila watched the male for a moment and in a peace of mind she sighed and pulled back her fore paw when she realized that Alastor has changed. His demeanor startled her and she cuffed her receptors back watching his body language take in hold and thus making her back up slowly in a lower position than how she remained. 'Perhaps that was a bad idea to even bring it up..' she swallowed lightly before looking away, distracted. "N...no, it's fine. I shouldn't have repeated anything" the she-wolf arose to her paws and silently walked to a small rock where she stepped one paw at a time and stood upon, a little ways from the male, a bit unaware of how to relax him. However she watched him pick up his head and her cognac pools swept across the perimeter at ease with her tassel low and whereas she began to pant a little. Having some shock of nerve made her feel discomforted to the point where her breathing would increase by talking longer breaths, but at this point she wasn't just breathing the air around them, another scent lingered.

Swiping her tongue across her lips, she settled her eyes on the background and whiffed at the air to identify the smell. A wolf was her assumptions and she casually walked down from where she was to find a better overview of the territory. Once then there was a large, masculine wolf ahead, he stood defiantly on the mount of mineral with his sanguine pools directing contact at her and Alastor. Soon the tawny, dark-toned male approached the newcomer as his muscles were more relaxed. 'Maybe he needed another wolf of his gender to speak with...rather than just a female', she pondered and watched him for any movements or attacks this loner could inflict. Even though Emilia wanted to approach as well there was another scent on the end of the slight breeze that stirred by, billowing across the dry terrain. Picking her head up to look in the other direction and seeing nothing made her think if there was another one or just the returns of the hunters on a task that Koa has gave them to do.

Post  Fenrir Mon Jul 20, 2015 10:07 pm

"The name is Alastor. It's quite clear you do not hail from this land. Nor do I, might I ask your name?"

He asked about the beast's name? He didnt know but Fenrir's years of absolute loneliness made him forget how to interact with other wolves and the fact that he was allways being attacked as soon as he saw other wolves, made him extremely careful near them. The worse thing is that many of them started to politely introduce themselve just to lead him into a trap just like Alastor right here. Alastor's introduction sounded like a normal one to Fenrir but the stance of the beast was like near battle ready when he came closer, his eyes turned wrathful and his muscles tensed even more.

"I dont care who you are nor did i ask for your name." the beast replied angry, right now there were other things in his mind, questions to ensure that this wolf wont get into a trap. "Are you the only two or is there a local pack?" he asked quite rude. Fenrir didnt expect an answer after he didnt tell his name to him, the beast focused on the movements of the male and the female who was gone off a bit, at the same time he checked his surroundings and he heard that someone else was coming, they were definitely not alone. "Are there more of you?" he asked again, a bit louder now. Fenrir kept his position on the rock and didnt move an inch  but he would offer his name when he was absolutely sure that the current situation was safe and under his control, right now there could be an ambush all the time.

The beast's reply was curt, and spit with a rather sharp tongue. Alastor allowed a low growl to slip towards him, it was more of a defensive stance than a solid threat. His head turned back, looking over his shoulder to see Emilia coward slightly away from the new male. Alastor parted his maw slightly to reply to the nameless canine, though new scents and noises averted his attention quickly.  His stance was still firm, tense. Pale blue, almost silver eyes orbited the surroundings - over and past the massive ebony form before him. Eyes quickly flicking back as a deep wrathful voice grew and demanded an answer. More wolves? Were they alone? These were actually questions Alastor couldn't answer himself.
Al's jaw was clenched, he replied curtly through grinding canines - he had been isolated for quite some time -and now he recalled why. "If you really must know, the land is owned by a pack. But the sound and scent of things, there are some near by." As he spoke these words, he made himself defensive. This wasn't his land either, they could easily attack he and the night shaded beast. "How big it is... well I don't have that information. If they're friendly is also unknown to me." He words softened a bit. It was a slight warning to the male, just to be alert.

'If he just wished to hunt or attack he would have done so and be well on his way. He may be seeking entry.' Alastor looked to Emilia quickly, it'd be about helpful for her to chime in, though she wasn't all that important at the moment - what mattered was the safety levels of the grounds he stood in. As he awaited some sort of response from the obviously brutal male, he lifted his muzzle slightly, allowing his nares to inhale the knew scents. Females' aromas flooded his senses. One scented of the near area, the grass and markers - she was part of the pack. Another though, foreign? Definitely. Friendly? Of course unknown.
Alastor was ready for whatever it was about to happen, he calmly seated himself and coiled his tail around his hindquarters and didn't ceases from glancing about. Who would speak next, or make themselves appear?

Except Vanguard
Because she scares me

As the female silently slipped through the area, bushes rubbing against her body, leaving leaves and sticks throughout her already tangled fur. She walked slowly, keeping her neck in line with her spine and her head low. Due to her slightly tawny and tan colouring  she was rather hard to distinguish from the soil and leaf litter. Stealth was on her side this time around, although there would be no way to disguise her scent, she just had to hope they hadn't noticed her yet.

As she drew closer to the unsuspecting three wolves, still following the tracks of the massive beast she hunted, the scent grew stronger. This particular female did not have the greatest of senses although even she could tell that there were in fact two males and a female up ahead, right where the trail ended. She'd be out numbered, but still the cocky female thought nothing of it and charged out of the thicket without a second thought.

It must've been weird for the other wolves, a complete stranger bursting onto the scene suddenly with no invitation or warning. The tricoloured female peered around with her beady olive green eyes, searching the area for the wolf who's gigantic feet made those tracks. She spotted the beast, not twenty metres away, but her eyes ended up landing on a rather handsome male whom was growing in an defensive stance. The fact that he wasn't that bad lookin' had no effect on this female: She had a bigger bone to pick.

She marched right over to the three, and true to what she thought, one was a female who was currently holding back. Probably the only one with sense out of all of them. The perfectly average-looking female with quite the arrogant attitude stomped her way over the them and placed herself in between them, her back to the massive brute behind her, all the while snarling in a dominant stance. "What  do you think you're doing?!" She growled, eyes firmly planted on those of the pale-eyed male. "This is MY prey!" She declared, ignoring whatever looks may be thrown her way or whatever the strangers may be thinking as a result of what she had just said. "I demand you back off immediately!"

PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY - Page 5 Empty Re: PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY

Post  Emilia Tue Jul 21, 2015 9:58 am

The ivory wolf peered over at the male that stood at the territory ground, while Alastor confronted him, shortly there was a voice that made her wince. The tension in ones' eager state was weary for the canid as she watched from a distance. He was demanding and was looking for the right answer, in which she obviously heard since his vocals were very loud and echoed for this region. Ears flicking she pondered about the size herself. 'The size shouldn't matter...at least from what I recall there were plenty of wolves out already, who knows how they will react to new arrivals!', Emilia whisked her tail as the other tawny odd marked male took a defensive stance, assuring that he doesn't play games.

However, this sort of scene made her cower off, back to the large formation of mineral where she then could easily watch from a distance for herself. But then as she relaxed herself and made sure Alastor wouldn't be attacked a new figure approached and at a quite fast pace. An dark tawny wolf, similar colors as Alastor but seemed very defiant in her manners. She was demanding something by the looks from her position and how she approached him with vague interests about this diversion. Emilia held her breath for the time being as she watched from atop the hill, if she were brave enough she would stand aside the other masculine to assure that she as well belongs here. But that was just in her head. But as she steadied her breathing and glanced over her shoulder and around for the elderly wolf, Koa, should would gladly feel safer within her paws of arrival. For now, she just waited and watched, until who makes a next move and if they do, would be beneficial?

In the meantime she began to pant again, due to the fact she was straining herself away from such activity, thus allowing her to slowly slip away for a moment. The lady slowly sniffed around the area, attempting to keep herself occupied, however, the thought of leaving Alastor there and alone was still on her mind with two other canines that seem to be as arrogant and demanding over such quarries. But as she kept keeping to herself with a moderate pace of her paw steps, even though they did still ache but at least not as bad as when she arrived here and feeling the slight fatigue come rolling through her body there was something that caught her interest. A large, bendy stick was laying on the ground and Emilia nudged it first with her muzzle before taking one end and see how much it actually was dragged on the ground and so she dropped it and picked it up almost in the center, keeping the ends as evenly balanced. With the haste of returning she did and eventually she approached a spot atop the hill and laid there slowly with her cognac pools peering around before laying her fore paw and chin on it.

[Emilia just totally went off on her own for this scene!]

Post  Fenrir Tue Jul 21, 2015 5:27 pm

Alastor actually gave Fenrir the informations he wanted to know, so he wasnt part of the local pack? Interesting. Alastor alerted the beast that the pack was near by and right when he said that, he turned defensive. They dont know how many there are nor do they know how far they are away but they will probably return sometime. The ivory female mad her way off while the beast listened to Alastor's informations, if she was part of this pack then maybe she walked off to tell them about the two strangers, they could only wait right now. Fenrir actually wanted to reveal his name when a dark perfectly average-looking female (?) stomped her way over and placed herself between Alastor and the beast.

"What  do you think you're doing?! This is MY prey! I demand you back off immediately!"

The female snarled at Alastor but Fenrir was just standing still, he had no clue what the hell was going on. Do they know eachother? And whats even more weird, who would place themself between two wolves? One thing caught his attention, she was talking about her prey and that Alastor should back off from... what? Back off from Fenrir? At once a grin appeared on the beast's face and a very deep, vibrating growl escaped his giant maw, "You want to hunt me down, girl? BRING IT!" he shouted, his voice echoing in the forest. This monster loves to fight and to kill even more, the adrenalin just felt great and the sound when you break someones neck to end their life is just the best thing he ever experienced, this is the only thing where had some fun in his life. He allways wants more, allways remained bloodthirsty...

PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY - Page 5 Empty Re: PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY

Post  Alastor Tue Jul 21, 2015 8:10 pm

Alastor was steadily seated before the intimidating beast. The plains were oddly silent, nothing seemed to be coming - which was odd. The scents from before where still present - but no one made themselves visible. Al made his ears fully erect as he did hear movement, it was a low brisk padding of Emilia's paws. She slipped away and left the beast and himself be alone. ' Perhaps she was intimidated or worried for some reason.

As pale eyes averted the now vanished frame, and fell back on the beast - Alastor was rudely, and spontaneously surprised by an aggressive female raising her voice in his face. She was taller than an average she-wolf, though still a nice deal smaller than Al. Reddish-browns, tawny-greys, and off whites danced in her coat. A pair of strikingly  tantalizing, olive eyes stares deeply at  him. Aggravation and seriousness shades them. Demands were spit, to get away from her prey. 'prey? What prey? Step away...? From the beast?'. Alastor allowed his head to instinctively slip into a tilt.

His hind quarters began to rise slightly off the ground and he stepped back once, gaining a better view of the "in-your-face" female, as well as a view of her "prey". Alastor perked his ears and looked past the newest nomad, the deep wrathful voice of Fenrir ring over the near land. A devilish grin encased the beasts maw, and a challenge was cast to the aggressive female.

Alastor allowed a coy smile to rise in the occasion, it was an interesting situation. He gained his focus on. The female again, her glare still narrowed. He noticed the interesting marks beneath her eye - she was beautiful that was positive, and could handle herself well by the looks of it. "My apologies miss, by all means, take your prey." Alastor allowed a soft chuckle to roll from his throat. He stepped back, and made his way around the two, seating himself a yard away from the duo, the hunter and the prey.

The massive male was serious in his threat, the perhaps the she wolf too. Though Al knew not to step in, it wasn't his business - but if things got outta hand, maybe he's step in. A all curve remain in the corner of his tawny-gray maw.

This post isn't very pretty, just so ye know. Also note that I have no control over Vanguard, SHE DOES WHAT SHE WANTS AND SHE'S GONNA GET HERSELF KILLED  o-o

The supposedly crazy female watched from the corner of her eye as the other female crept out of the scene. If she weren't busy already the tawny grey mixed female would've scolded her for her cowardice greatly, but for now her focus was on the two males, one of which was currently just staring at her with them lovey-dovey eyes. She growled, no one is allowed to look at her like that.

"You want to hunt me down, girl? BRING IT!" For a moment the female didn't answer, staring daggers at the - in her opinion - devious male wolf curled up in her path, ignoring the beast behind her."My apologies miss, by all means, take your prey." The liver-coloured male said, smiling almost flirtatiously her way, which just riled her up even more. Especially with the use of miss. Oh she'd have to teach him a lesson or two, you know it. "Hold on a moment," she spoke finally to the blood-thirsty dark-pelted male behind her, not even looking his way. "I'll deal with you later..." She let the last word of her sentence slip into a deep growl as she kept her eyes locked on the brown creature who was strutting his way around them before taking his seat.

She marched her way over to him, not even taking a second glance at the massive male she left behind, and snarled fiercely. "Get up!" She ordered, standing dominantly over him. She snarled again. "GET UP, NOW," she repeated, already impatient, her temper getting the better of her. He knew what he did, and if he didn't correct it she'd make sure he'd regret it. This female intended to teach this fine fellow a lesson, one that everyone should know: Do not look at Vanguard the wrong way.

Fenrir was ready to strike, ready to end another life but the female intended to just walk away, shouting at Alastor like a mad chic. 'What?.... huh...h..how? WHAT?' Fenrir was so confused right now, she snarled at Alastor even though he just walked away from her? The beast was the one who challenged her for a fight, not this tawny male known as Alastor.

Fenrir jumped off the rock and stomped over to the two, "Why the hell do you interrupt my fight?" He shouted towards the male. The Beast was really pissed right now and just wanted to shout at everything, "GET UP RIGHT NOW!" he shouted again. Both, the female and Fenrir shouted at Alastor right now but the beast still had no idea what the hell was going on or why his mind just changed, one second ago he just wanted to kill the stranger, now hes shouting at Alastor because he stole his fight.

'How dare you...' Fenrir thought, his anger rising as he shouted. There is another bad side about Fenrir, he doesnt know if it is a disease or just a bad habit of him, when he gets too angry then he cant control himself and will just attack anything he sees, so you shouldnt provoke him too much. Well, provoking him is the worst you could do in the first place.

Post  Alastor Tue Jul 21, 2015 10:45 pm

The entertainment didn't last long, as Alastor seated himself - the female got in his face once more. Nothing but aggression flowed from the she-wolf. Growling demands erupted from her, ordering him to stand. She was searching him, scanning for the right words to fall from his mouth. Alastor did as she said, he courteously stood on his feet and narrowed his gaze down. His lips began to quiver as growls grew in the depths of his throat - his ears pinned down slightly and he leaned forth, his nose inches from hers.

His almost silver eyes reflected her image clearly like a flawless mirror. She was utterly impressive - attractive, yes. But many females could be such. She was assertive and not backing down. Alastor always enjoyed a challenge, but perhaps the friendship that could form would be more of a babysitting duty. The clenched, visible ivories of the male allowed snarls to slip past. "Apologizing for staring would be the kind thing to do - so I will. But don't push me." Alastor growled the demand.

As of now, he had no problem with fighting the new wolf -  she looked capable of handling herself in a challenge. And al being the hot heated creature he is, it won't take much to rile him up to the challenge.

The voice of the nameless beast averted the pale eyes of the aggressive male, Al's frame was dominantly firm and defensive towards the she-wolf. Though soon the ebony beast too, was shouting at Alastor. Growls grew deeper in his throat and he pressed his nose firmly into she smaller canine's "do you hear that? How dare I interrupt his fight with you." He scoffed, spitting the words like venom towards the she wolf. He released the pressure of his nose against her's and aimed his gaze quickly to the second wolf.

Alasator's eyes were glaring with the readiness to pounce his frame and fight - but it was clear it was solely directed towards the childish, in-your-face she wolf. " she's the one that interrupted your fight. If you want her, have her." As he said his, his muzzle rolled back towards Van and he growled the ending words.

She was unbelievable annoying and ghastly. The triangle stances wolves were full of tension aimed towards each other - a fight would erupt soon enough.

FITE MEH

This was turning out to be some sort of fight club. Although the male had gotten to his feet as the female had kindly asked [lawl], he replied with a sassy remark that made the female almost leap out and take his throat in her jaws. This fella had spunk, no doubt about that. He'd earned her respect for that. Anyone who could stand their ground against not only a massive beast twice their size and this particular female either was incredibly arrogant, stubborn or courageous. She liked that in a wolf.

But none the less, he was still disrespectful in her eyes, and not only her's apparently. Deciding that the stranger had stolen his fight, the dark-pelted beast joined the female in cornering the tawny male. He angrily forced his way to the other male and demanded to know why he had interrupted. This fellow had an almost admirable  lust for blood, and a horrible temper to go with it. Paired with his size, he'd make a dangerous opponent. If you managed to take a guy like him down your name would be known throughout the ages. But the female didn't care about him [Fenrir] anymore; her sights were set on the other male, and despite  the brown wolf's attempt at convincing him otherwise, she had a feeling the giant brute did too.

While this whole scene played out, Fenrir thought about what he actually wanted here. Well, he didnt want anything, he just ran into two strangers, one of them a bit more crazy but lets not talk about crazy wolves while Fenrir is around. The female stopped talking and snarling for a second and Fenrir had a short time to think about his next actions. Alastor said there are more wolves around, so he might know where they are. Why would he want to know that? Because he kind of lost interest in those two, a fight is no real fight when your opponent wont do anything and presents his back to you so one could kill her with ease, there is no fun in that, is it?

"Do you know where the pack ran off to?" The beast asked Alastor with his wrathful tone, he expected atleast a direction where they went off to. The male allready gave him the answers he wanted once, if he does that again then Fenrir would be quite surprised, he likes it when he gets the answers he demands, pathetic questions not so much. Maybe he will finally get something to do when he found the other pack, doesnt matter that they are unfriendly, either way it will be alot of fun for him.

Alastor allowed how pale glare to rest on the she-wolf, his clenched maw still full of audible, aggressive growls. True, his eyes lied on her, though his stare was bland, and entirely uncomplimentary. She made it quite clear that he should not gawk in such a manner. Al watched her, his eyes occasionally flicking to the other male but quickly returning to his bigger problem. A pair of olive eyes held the fiery spirit or pure destruction. It was clear that she was just itching to attack something. Her determination for a challenge was surely admirable, though other aspects to the female were over-all a pain. Though Al often favored a challenge as well.

Moments of unbearable silence slithered past, the almost death stare was broken by the wrathful and recognizable tone of the ebony beast. Al's eyes clashed with the crimson gems of the towering beast, he demanded more information of the pack. Their location. He allowed a brow to raise, seconds ago the beast wished to fight - though now he wanted the pack. He glanced abut the area, he remembered prior to his arrival - the pack went off to hunt. He shifted his head slightly to look away from each of his companions. "Last I knew, they were off in that direction, hunting if I recall properly." His words were quick, and emotionless. He hoped it was what the beast was looking to hear - 'Perhaps he's seeking acceptance, instead of waiting it out.' For a moment - he believed her too should track the pack - but then his eyes rolled back to the grey - russet faced she wolf 'However I still have you to deal with...' Alastor allowed a low growl to slip towards her as the thought went through his mind.

He returned his glance to the ebony beast - "They've been gone for quite some time, I'm not sure what they're doing." Once more, he just couldn't keep his mind off of the slightly small wolf, she was quite a handful already - Al wasn't sure if he could handle being in a pack with her. "The name is Alastor. I know you didn't ask, but might as well have the name of those you don't like." He words had a devilish snap at the end - if a fight wereto happen, he wouldn't turn it down.

The female was quite surprised when the raging beast of a wolf decided that the smaller creatures were not worth his time, instead wanting to take on a whole pack instead. She was kind of disappointed, she wanted a good fight, or at the very least to watch one. She snorted and glared after the dark pelted male. 'Yeah, you go run off to your little pack. You were boring anyways. And rude.' She thought, apparently unnerved about the fact the was a pack living in these boundaries. Kind of unsurprising, it was some prime territory as far as she knew, not that she knew much about pack life having spent half her life with her family's pack and the other half as a nomadic traveller; nothing more than just another loner. Yet, despite herself, she craved the company of others after so long. Perhaps it was time to settle down, to stay in the one place. Perhaps that place was here? 'Nah.' She dismissed the idea without a second thought. Geez, the things her mind came up with these days were rather scary. Staying here? Bah humbug! (As Mister Scrooge would say (?)

Returning her attention to the smaller taupe-furred male with icy blue eyes and a collection of scars over his face, she listened as he sort-of-kind-of attempted to defuse the attention without much success.
"The name is Alastor. I know you didn't ask, but might as well have the name of those you don't like." He spoke bitterly, like to a waitress who gave him the bacon and eggs without the bacon (?). Both seemed to have obvious distaste towards each other, and stooping to his level would've be much help. Besides, if the pack found a dead body they probably would chase the female out of their territory. Not that she wanted to join them, of course...

So, deciding to change tactic but still craving revenge, the female replied in as smooth and feminine a tone as her gruff, perhaps slightly manly voice could manage. "I wish I could enlightened you with a title of my own, but as such, I cannot: I lack a name." She said, giving up on the phoney accent halfway through, eventually just speaking in her average vocals. "... Just call me Vanguard." She gave a perfectly uncharming grin, showing off her yellowing teeth.

Alastor actually knew where the pack went off to, another good answer from the male. Fenrir didnt say anything, he gave him a nod and went off to the direction that he said to follow the pack. He would get along with the crazy chic, thats what the beast thought, they probably wont meet each other ever again... Well, thats not true, he still has to "speak" with his not-so promising challenger. Fine enough, Its most likely that he will come back, this isnt over yet and she challenged him once, that might be her end but maybe she fights better than she snarls. Nevertheless, the death of a victim of that beast allways depends on Fenrir's mood but a good fight will allways have some room.

Before he trotted away, he remembered one sentence from the female, now known as Vanguard. "I'll deal with you later..." Fenrir grinned while leaving the two, he was a few metres away allready but he still had something to say, "I'll deal with you soon enough..." he said with his wrathful deep voice, "...what a waste of time... i overestimated your will to fight.", 'I will have my fun, dont worry.' he thought while slowly moving away, a deep laugh escaped his maw when he entered the shadows, on the move to find the pack.

Emilia's lobes erected at the nearby vocals of the trio that were exchanging words, eventually they all went silent for a moment and she continued to gnaw on her own stick before it finally cracked from the pressure she inflicted. Poking it with her snout she arose and arched her back, seeing how Alastor has so far looked like a whole still and not torn by the wrath of the aggressive demeanor of some. She then approached again slowly, yet carefully to not look as cowardly as she did. She's not a fighter but as soon as she heard the more positive male speak upon where the pack went off to and where the sanguine eyed male took off in the direction she halted. 'Those members are in for a surprise...' she thought due to the fact how this stranger rogue has acted already with three others and now with another portion of the pack are in for it too. Hopefully they can handle that beast coming their way...despite how many there are too.

Finding the courage to speak, she caught the other female's name but didn't intentionally acknowledge her introduction of her title, she can follow up with that later on. "The other members are on a task, from the former founder of this territory, Koa" a soft pitched voice disturbed the loud voices that occurred, receptors cuffed back along the female's crown as she eyed the female for a brief moment, before looking over at Alastor. Her size compared to the female's would be no match, so she submissively stood still, hoping no strong occurrence of dominance is lashed out at her own. "The..the leader should be returning shortly, prey here seems scarce, so she may have travelled off a bit farther than expected" the ivory she-wolf added before stepping back from the two of them, her pools now focused on them evenly in her sight as she seated herself back on her rump and her tassel curled to the front of her fore paws, lobes still cuffed back with weariness. 'There's no need to go warn the others...they can defend for themselves...by how many tracks were found and scents, there sure may be more than what is already present here, plus the leader', a slow swallow drifted down Emilia's throat as she awaited for any attitude that may be thrown her direction.

Alastor's growling seemed settled for a moment, the olive-eyed she wolf attempted to be a bit more civil as she spoke to him. Stating she had no name, but to simply refer to her as "Vanguard".  After her introduction, a seemingly forced smile appeared on her maw. A low sing chuckle came from Al as he saw Vanguard try her best to fend off her aggressive state. "It suits you." Were the only words he cast towards her, his tone dull though not rude. Movement's from the massive beast made his attention follow him - he was after the pack. A curt nod was the only acknowledgment given to the grey-liver male. Though he hollered a threat back, deeming to finish his business later - probably with Vanguard claiming him as her prey.

Alastor allowed his frame to fall a step closer to the newly named she-wolf. He looked down to make his eyes meet hers, he was surely curious about the female, wondering where she hailed from and what experience she held within herself. Though a slightly familiar sound chimed into the scene and stole his eyes from Vanguard. Attention shifted to Emilia - she spoke of the owner of the land. Koa. As well as the fact that the wolves may be headed off further due to food shortages. She also informed the duo that the leader should be due back momentarily.

Alastor allowed his gaze to follow to graceful, sleek physique of Emilia as she whisked off and seated herself a clear distance from the once aggressive wolves. Alastor allowed a coy smirk to form in a corner of his maw, and his eyes flick from Vanguard to the creamer shaded she wolf. 'Perhaps Vanguard enjoys attention on herself - well if she didn't want my eyes on her before - maybe I'll just keep them off her.' Al smiled to himself, he hoped to ruffled Van's feathers a bit - maybe even make her jealous. His eyes were cold, and unflattering towards Vanguard each time he glanced her way, though the held a special charming spark when looking towards Emilia. His muzzle pointed towards the golden wolf, "Thank you for your information, Emilia." Al's voice was deep, steady, and relaxed. A kind smile shown towards the one he spoke to.

His brow raised slightly towards Vanguard to see if she had been effected at all by his actions

Hukahukahukahukahukahukahukahukahukahukahuka / My first JumboShakespearPost coming up

Vanguard payed no attention to the dark-pelted beast leaving, her mind quite occupied in the current. 'Want revenge. Need revenge. Want revenge...' Her thoughts repeated themselves, meanwhile her manners - however forced and somewhat unfriendly underneath - had calmed the brown wolf who's name she had learnt to have a name: Alastor. In all honesty he didn't look much like an Alastor, and it wasn't her favourite name. Then again, he wasn't her favourite wolf.

"It suits you." The male said dryly, much to her fury, especially after attempting to make nice. She had a tough time keeping herself from biting his furry little nose off, and despite being able to hold herself back just barely a gruesome scowl appeared on her face. Talk about anger issues. "So does yours," she said viciously through clenched teeth, staring daggers into his fat little soul. Man, she didn't like this guy. Just everything about him put her on edge; even just the way he spoke.

Meanwhile, as Vanguard had trouble biting her tongue and not loosing her temper, the female who had previously retreated away to safety had apparently gained some courage and returned to the still-uneasy pair. She went on about the other wolves in the area and that the leader of them would most likely be returning shortly. Vanguard had no interest in them and would most likely be leaving shortly. She didn't need a pack... Right? Yeah, right...

Just as she had had enough with these lot and was making ready to leave, Alastor did something unforgivable: He flirted with the beige stranger. He looked back at Vanguard rather uninterestedly when before he looked at her with the same starry-eyed look before. That had done it alright. 'How dare he, the bloody casanova! I'm much nicer looking than that cowardice fool!' Although that was probably untrue, Vanguard was nonetheless angry, clearly. The tainted grey and tan female snorted like an enraged bull and started charging towards the male's throat,  intending to grab it. She was just a few inches from tackling the male and tearing his face off when she stopped herself suddenly, sliding slightly and ending up falling face-first in front of the two. She got up and dusted herself off immediately, completely ignoring what she had just did and whatever looks may be thrown her way. 'Two can play at this game.' She decided, remembering the look in his eyes before she had shown that she was no love-struck yearling: If she felt like this with just one other female and with no [lulz] feelings for him other than for being ignored, then it must be painful for him when she goes off to claim all the males' souls [?].

"Indeed," was all Vanguard said to the female with a incredibly forced, fake smile that wavered greatly. You could hear in her voice that she was indeed bothered and that she would probably show this other female who was boss later. For now, all she wanted was to join this pack. Revenge would be oh so sweet.

Basic summary so you don't have to stare at the wall of words: Vanny basically hates Ally and Em now and plans on ripping both their throats out but decided instead to play at Alastor's game and to do so she must join the pack. Pretty much all she did is fall over and recollect herself.

I feel bad for Emilia, getting caught into this xD

PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY - Page 5 Empty Re: PARTIZANSKAYA SENTRY

Post  Emilia Mon Jul 27, 2015 10:42 am

Just as soon as she was inches away, Alastor nodded in thanks for the information she has given the two and with a smile of support she never really assured why he added a genuine expression on his face. She had to cock her head slightly, but that's when she did realize something - he was tantalizing the stranger, who she caught her name at the last second, Vanguard. 'That name is rather suitable' she would agree with the male that did in fact say to her when she approached the conversation at ease. Emilia didn't want anything to do what was happening here but it was too fast and too close for comfort when she recognized how the female snorted in disgust then charged them, making her wince and jump to her paws real fast and backwards, her back hairs bristled and her tassel lifted than normal. This was unnecessary behavior, like she wanted to rip her apart or at least convince her to not come near her anymore. What was her gain...revenge?

As her answer upon the she-wolf's information was met, this didn't make her remove herself from her movement she performed, she was now aware how dangerous this canid can be and what she can perform as well is a mystery. The tawny female curled a smile, as fake as it seemed because she had discomfort and disgust for such an act, that Emilia furrowed her brow with a smile in return, making it a bit more kinder attitude. "Well, it was nice to meet you" she remarked. "I'm sure we'll be great friends" emphasized, a bit worried now as soon as she turned her attention away; her expression altered and changed as she took a a breath of fear, slowly she paced herself slowly from the others, making a small smile and a wink as she glanced over at the two, knowing she didn't want to make the she-wolf any more uncomfortable with her presence. Turning face forward towards the hills she pressed the earth beneath her pads with force and wondered where else she could go and if she should try to find the rest of the pack. Maybe her information was a false alarm for them and that she could go and find them herself. In the meantime she just waited herself patiently near the formation of mineral, investigating her own mind as she slowly laid down and slumped slightly with a deep sigh.

Post  Alastor Mon Jul 27, 2015 3:14 pm

Alastor allowed his ears to swivel forth and a low growl to slip from him as he noticed Vanguard charge towards he and Emilia. Ultimately just skidding to a halt and falling onto her chest and face. The male winced slightly at the action, then watched as she dusted herself off and spit the word "indeed". Moments later, Emilia's voice chimed into his lobes once again, uncomfortable noting that they'll be great friends. Then tension was unbelievably felt, the trio entirely unsettled with one another.

The creamer pelted of the females wandered off once more, now leave Al alone with Vanguard - she wasn't far from him. A low, subtle chuff of anxiousness  rose from him and he followed through with subconscious thoughts as he rose up and inched closer to Vanguard. "Are you alright?" His voice was sincere, his seated frame only exceeded her's by mere inches.

Alastor's head was angled downward to meet Van's face. A once stiffened, firm frame- was now relaxed and comfortable. His tail could around his hind quarters slightly as the tip flicked up and down. The silence was gnawing at him. He and this female were inches from killing each other moments ago, why did he care if she was okay? He was going to be a reason she wasn't okay just before. Though for some reason, her status interested him. His eyes no longer held that bland,  untasteful wall. They were clear, nothing shielded them. Curiosity being the only thing visible. "Well, are you?" His head tilted slightly, and his eyes roamed over her frame for injuries or debris.
